    "message": "draw the axis title of a broken plot once, from the completed labels, #85\n\n`#85` was closed as the defect #53 fixed, but the report comes back for a\ntitle that is set as the `name` of a position scale -- `scale_x_continuous(\"test\")` --\nrather than with `labs()`, and five things went wrong together:\n\n* `extract_totallabs()` read `ggplot_build(plot)$plot$labels`, which holds\n  only what `labs()` set plus the aesthetic defaults, so the title hoisted\n  above a bottom legend carried the aesthetic name \"x\" instead of \"test\";\n  `ggplot2::get_labs()` returns the completed labels.\n* a window blanked its title with `labs()`, which does not beat a scale\n  `name`, so `scale_wrap()` and the cut scales printed it once per window;\n  the windows blank the theme element instead.\n* `check_axis_title()` added the primary title to the outer ggplot a second\n  time as a guide, whose row sits below the collected legend, so a\n  scale-named title was drawn above and below the legend; only the\n  secondary title is left there, which `labs()` cannot set.\n* `grid.draw.ggwrap()` wrote the hoisted label back with `totallabs$x <- NULL`,\n  which drops the element rather than clearing it, and drew a stray \"x\".\n* `align_assembled_figure()` rebuilt the figure from the panel area alone,\n  so a bottom title was dropped when `patchwork` or `cowplot` took the\n  plot through `ggplotGrob()`; it moves the row into `xlab-b`.\n",
